Guided Bear Hunts

We provide everything you need for Bear Hunting. Most people who have never bear hunted before do not know how tough the preparation is. It is not like hunting anything else, bears are tough to get in. it's just not as simple as throwing some bait in the woods and waiting for a bear.  We provide and put out all the bait, register the sites, set stands and cut shooting lanes and clean up when we're done. All required by the DNR. We also teach our hunters how to judge a bear in the woods. The night before the first day we educate our hunters on what they should look for. The bear is one of the hardest animals to field judge, Boar or sow, big or small we will show you what to look for so you can have the best chance on have a hunt of a lifetime and a bear to be proud of. The hunt will be 5 days. You arrive on Sunday and starting the hunt on Monday then hunt through Friday departing on Saturday. Bear season opens in Minnesota on September 1st and closes around October 15th depending if it falls on a weekend.

Let say you have some land and you want to try bear hunting and don't know where to start. We can come to your site consult with you on where to place your baits and stands. How to place your baits and what to bait with. Show you everything you need to know to get started. we can also be available to you when you harvest your bear to track and recover , skin and prep the meat. As long as it doesn't conflict with customers that we're guiding  in our area. 

Other Hunting Opportunities

Just remember When you come up bear hunting we also have other opportunities to hunt game if you finish your hunt early. Depending on the dates you hunt we have grouse, Early goose season, Turkey, Predator hunting (Coyote, Red Fox) and there are nearby lakes that are great for Walleye and Northern fishing as well as panfish. There will be an additional cost for licensing. You will need a small game license and or a goose stamp depending on what you want to hunt. We have a license agent nearby bear camp that is easily available.

We are thinking hard about  also running an archery deer hunt which is also open around September 15th each year so another option to fill in if you get your bear early. Of course there will be the need for another license that can be purchased nearby.
